Privacy — HolyMake

Scope

This notice covers this website, holymake.com. It does not cover our mobile apps — each app has its own privacy policy, published on its own store listing and inside the app.

What we collect

Nothing, on our side. This is a set of static pages. There are no cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising tags, no embedded videos, no comment system, and no accounts to create. We do not build a profile of you and we have no way to recognise you if you come back.

Two honest footnotes. First, the pages load one font family from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers and Google receives your IP address as part of that request. Second, our hosting provider keeps ordinary server logs — IP address, requested page, timestamp, browser user-agent — for a short period so the site can be operated and protected from abuse. We do not use those logs to identify visitors or measure traffic.

If you e-mail us

When you write to hello@holymake.com, we receive your e-mail address, your name if you give it, and whatever you choose to put in the message. We use it for one purpose: to answer you and, where relevant, to keep a record of the conversation.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, or the steps taken before entering a contract where your message is about working together. We keep correspondence for as long as it is useful and then delete it. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell, rent, or share your details with anyone for marketing.

Our hosting and e-mail providers act as processors on our behalf. Some of them operate outside the European Economic Area; where that happens, transfers are covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict how we use it, object to our use of it, and ask for it in a portable format. In practice, for this website, that will almost always mean e-mail correspondence.

Write to hello@holymake.com and we will respond within one month. You do not need a particular form of words. If you think we have handled your data badly, you can also complain to the Polish supervisory authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych) in Warsaw.
